Aztec Magic Bonanza is a cascade game

Symbols land on a 6x5 grid of 30 cells, in an Aztec, Jungle and Treasure theme. No paylines exist. A win needs at least 8 matching symbols anywhere on the grid, and the count sets the tier: 8 or 9, 10 or 11, or 12 or more. Winning symbols are removed, new ones drop in, and the sequence repeats until no new win forms. Every win in that sequence is summed.

Four, five or six Scatters on one spin start 10, 20 or 30 Free Spins. Multiplier symbols, each a random x2 to x100, appear on the reels during the feature. Several in one cascade are added together, and that sum multiplies the sequence win once. Three or more Scatters during the feature retrigger 5 more spins. Scatters pay no coin value in this feature.

Crownplay lays out each mode in the order the game plays it, with its figures as stated.

When 4 Scatters land

4, 5 or 6 Scatters on one spin start the Free Spins, with 10, 20 or 30 spins. During the feature, three or more Scatters retrigger 5 more spins. Multipliers of x2 to x100 land at random and sum within a cascade before the win is multiplied once.

Free Spins for A$200

The reels move straight into Free Spins when you buy the bonus for A$200, which is 100 times the A$2 example top bet. The same Free Spins can also be triggered by 4, 5 or 6 Scatters on one spin. The RTP with Buy Bonus is 96.52%.

Pay anywhere instead of paylines

The 6 reels x 5 rows grid holds 30 cells, and no paylines apply. A symbol pays when its total count anywhere on the grid reaches 8-9, 10-11 or 12+. Winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in, repeating until no new win appears.

Know your bet

Aztec Magic Bonanza, one round from bet to payout

Most players worry about what one spin costs, so each step shows where the money goes.

  1. Set your bet first

The Base Game reels form a 6 by 5 grid of 30 cells, and each spin uses the stake you choose between A$0.20 and A$25.

  2. Wins without paylines

Winning symbols leave the grid, new ones drop in, and the sequence repeats until nothing new forms, with every win summed. Eight matching symbols anywhere is the fewest that pay.

  3. What starts the Free Spins?

Scatter symbols count anywhere on the grid, and four, five or six on a single spin start the Free Spins. The Tumble cascade runs on every win in the Base Game.

  4. Ten to thirty Free Spins

Four, five or six Scatters on one spin open 10, 20 or 30 Free Spins, and three or more landing during the feature add 5 spins.

  5. Aztec Magic Bonanza stop point

Reels begin each spin from the same 30-cell grid, and the result of any session cannot be known in advance, so set your limit before the first spin.

Aztec Magic Bonanza outcomes stay open

Scatters land at random, so Free Spins arrive at irregular points, and no one can say in advance how often that happens on this slot. A session can pass without a single bonus round or hold several. The RTP is an average over a very large number of spins, so the result of one session stays random whatever the RTP is.

Each spin on the 6x5 grid runs on one RTP version, and the game rules are the only place that names it. Crownplay runs the version named in those rules, so read them before you play.

A cascade sequence can pay up to x10,200 of the bet, which is A$255,000 at the A$25 top bet. That ceiling is a limit, not an expected result, and it is reached very rarely.

About Aztec Magic Bonanza

Before you spin Aztec Magic Bonanza

Short answers on bets, volatility, RTP, free spins and the bonus buy before the first spin.

Can I try Aztec Magic Bonanza with a small stake first?

Reels in Aztec Magic Bonanza fill a 6x5 grid of 30 cells, and the same layout applies at every bet. The lowest stake is A$0.20, so a first session can stay small. The paytable above shows each symbol's payout at A$0.40.

How volatile is Aztec Magic Bonanza for a new player?

On the reels, high volatility means wins come less often but can be larger, up to x10,200 the stake. The base game counts all winning symbols across the grid, and a cascade can add several wins in one sequence. How often a win lands cannot be known before play.

What bet sizes does Aztec Magic Bonanza allow in Australia?

Bets on the reels start at A$0.20 and stop at A$25, the highest stake allowed here. The examples on this page use A$0.40, A$1 and A$2, which are reference points rather than limits.

What is the RTP of Aztec Magic Bonanza and its versions?

Spins on the reels return a long-run share of the stake, and the slot comes in three RTP versions. The default is the lowest of the three, and the Buy Bonus runs on the highest. RTP is an average over very many spins, so it cannot predict one session.

How do the free spins start in Aztec Magic Bonanza?

Four, five or six Scatters landing anywhere on the reels in one spin start the free spins. Four Scatters give 10 spins, five give 20 and six give 30. During the round, three or more Scatters retrigger for five extra spins, and Scatters pay no coin value there.

Can I buy the bonus in Aztec Magic Bonanza and what does it cost?

On the reels, the Buy Bonus skips the base game and starts the free spins for 100 times the bet. At the top example bet of A$2, that costs A$200. The ante bet is a separate option that costs 1.25 times the bet on each spin.
